Black and off-white illustration of a short-haired girl and a boy wearing a beanie

les petits gamins

My passion for arts grew

as I was studying Graphic Design, where everything needs to be well aligned. Drawing for me is a way to liberate myself from all the rules and lean toward my intuition.

les petits gamins is created

to enable people to further connect with themselves. Thus bringing healthier social connection and inclusivity. I believe that only when we've built a deep connection with ourselves, should we build meaningful relationships with others.

I do this by

observing my thoughts, feelings and intuition, then a piece is created when those things meet an outside source. The key to my arts is self observation. Because we're not too different from one another, whatever I'm going through, someone else is going through the same thing. So when people see my illustrations, the're actually not building a connection with me, but with themselves by relating my work to their own lives.

Spreading positive influence

les petits gamins
focuses on self-connection to bring healthier social connection and inclusivity. To help more people achieve this goal, 10% of all sales made in 2020 will go to The Canadian Mental Health Association (cmha.ca). The donation will be made under "Boutique les petits gamins and its friends."

Seeing a kid smile is one of my favourite moments - this is how much I love children. I want to witness more of them grow into happy, expressive and emphatic adults. To help this growth, I will be planning non-profit art workshops (when the pandemic will be over) specifically for the kids whose parents can't afford any curriculum classes. Providing these children with equal opportunities to explore their creativity can engender happier adults, therefore, a healthier society.
